Margot M. Pickering is a native of Overland Park, Kansas. She began practicing in 2012 with Hinck Law Firm in Topeka, Kansas representing debtors in bankruptcy. Margot had the fortune to continue her legal career with her father in Olathe, Kansas where they focused primarily in corporate and business disputes.
As a true Kansas native, Margot received her undergraduate from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. During this time Miss Pickering worked as a paralegal for a local attorney predominately assisting in civil matters, divorces and bankruptcies. Margot went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas in Lawrence Kansas. During law school, Margot worked for the Family Health and Legal Clinic where she provided legal assistance to poverty stricken clients. Ms. Pickering also has experience as a Human Resource Generalist.
Margot’s hobbies include triathlons, enjoying a round of golf, knitting, and watching the Kansas City chiefs win. She is the middle of three sisters and a dog enthusiast.
